I agree with both of these nits. I’d add Ben Daniels to the list. However, I felt like Rogue One lacked any deep character development even with the leads, I’m not sure how they could have fit it all in.

Regarding Ben Daniels, I kind of got the sense that he was a tease to perhaps play a more significant role the Han Solo movie. His part seemed just prominent enough to be intriguing, important, and rememberable but intentionally vague and luring.
